I was having this little convo with a couple of people on Twitter and thought it’ll be interesting to hear your thoughts on the matter.

I tweeted that I didn’t like G-Dragon with his weirdly colored orange hair and wished that he would go back to black because imo, black hair looks the best on guys.

I mean, if I were to choose between this: tumblr_nydoknfSRP1qb2yato1_250.png

and this:

G-Dragon_1441825226_gd.jpg

It’s obviously no contest. Black hair looks the most masculine/sexiest imo.

A couple of guys (both Asian guys) tweeted me back and said they felt the same way about Asian girls dying their hair. They prefer the girls to keep their hair black.

So we all know it’s a very common trend to see Asians, especially the girls, dying their hair. But I’m curious as to what you guys think about it? Do you prefer the opposite gender to keep their hair black, do you prefer it dyed or you don’t care either way?

John Cho recently did an interview with Vulture and said that:

Particularly Asian men, I feel, we suffer more than Asian women, because we’re told we’re not worth anything in general.

Twitter exploded with Asian American activists saying how John Cho should be checking his male privilege and that Asian American men can be misogynistic and oppressive of Asian American Women.

What do you guys think? Are Asian American men oppressing Asian American women? If so, what’s the difference between toxic Asian American Masculinity and toxic Masculinity from other ethnic groups, particularly from white and black groups?

In my humble opinion, I don’t think that targeting Asian American men specifically really does anything but further divide the Asian American community. Some have said that Asian American men model their masculinities off of white and black role models and thus overcompensate for being emasculated by western society in general. If this is the case, then shouldn’t we be focusing on the root of the issue, the emasculation of Asian American males and the dismantling of the white supremacist system that oppresses both Asian American men and women?

I’ve heard some Asian American women say that Elliot Rodger and Daniel Holtzclaw are the product of toxic Asian Masculinity. Is this true?

Once again, I have to disagree with this assessment, simply because these two half-Asian American men were products of parents that were a white father and an Asian mother. If these men really got their masculinities from Asian culture, it must’ve been from their mothers… If not, then they must’ve gotten them from their white fathers, making their attitudes white in nature. Rodger’s manifesto revealed how proud he was to be descended from British aristocracy and found Asian men hideously ugly. He was enraged at the sight of Asian men chatting up white women. He killed three of his Asian male roommates by stabbing them multiple times. Similarly, in interviews with his victims, they revealed that Holtzclaw raped them while asking them how they liked his WHITE penis inside of them. These men both clearly identified as white supremacist men.

Some Asian American women say that Asian American men have “privilege”. Do you agree with this?

Nope. Scroll down to “But Asian men are men therefore they have privilege and are part of the problem, aren’t they?”

Liang was a rookie, who was inexplicably sent to patrol a dangerous neighborhood.
He accidentally killed Black man, Akai Gurley, due to a stray accidentally discharged bullet. His only major “crime” here is that he froze and failed to get Mr. Gurley medical help right away. He should face some penalty for his mistake but he is certainly not a “bad cop” the way white cops who intentionally kill unarmed Blacks are.

● First, racist white cops have and continue to kill with impunity for decades.

I will post more from the same source below and you can see how these largely white cops were found “innocent”

● Do not get fooled by Asian progressives / liberals calling for harsh punishment of Peter Liang. They claim that refusing to do so is anti-Black and that Asians just want white privilege to also kill with impunity. That is nonsense because…

● The crux of the problem here has three parts:

  1. The white racist injustice system is broken. It needs to be fixed.
  2. Whites are scapegoating a rookie Asian police officer to appease Blacks to protect themselves. They are making an Asian paying for the sins of white racists.

Liang is the first NYPD cop to be convicted of a police-involved shooting in a decade

http://www.nydailynews.com/new-york/nyc-crime/nypd-peter-liang-guilty-fatal-shooting-akai-gurley-article-1.2528827

This is classic divide and conquer, which has a long history.

https://forum.asiansoul.org/topic/24/most-common-myths-and-problems/6 (see Myth: Blacks are our enemies)

This young Asian woman does a great job debunking this narrative with clarity.

  1. Peter Liang’s situation is vastly different from most white racist cops.

Liang was a rookie, who was inexplicably sent to patrol a dangerous neighborhood. He accidentally killed a man due to a stray accidentally discharged bullet. Meanwhile, white racist cops intentionally and ruthlessly slaughter innocent unarmed Blacks all the time. One white Daniel Pantaleo was even caught strangling a Black man to death on video but found “innocent”.

There is no post-racial utopia.

That’s a lie. Remember, racist white juries, who didn’t find white cops guilty of killing Black people all year round, suddenly found the “courage” to sentence Peter Liang to 15 years of jail. This society is racist and hypocritical at its very core and…

Asians, why are you in doing these jobs?

Why are you defending white interests by putting your life on the line? You are nothing but canon fodder.

It was true when they sent Chinese coolies to do the lethal demolition work for their railways, when they sent the Japanese 442nd “Purple Heart” battalion on suicide missions, when they used Chinese civilians to save their American pilots in operation Dolittle in China during ww2 (250,000 where killed in retaliation yet you’ve never heard of them). Why do you fight for people who hate, abuse, and betray you? Understand that you will never be accepted so don’t waste away your precious life.

A list of traitors / sell outs misrepresenting Asians as anti-Black (credit to Arcterex)

The Liang case has been a defining moment in that so-called progressive liberal Asians belonging to the left-wing minority coalition have exploited the Liang case to of all things browbeat Asians as being anti-black. they have shown their true colors. be on guard for any Asian claiming to stand up for the standard buzzwords “racial justice” etc because their ideas of these values don’t include Asians

Supporters in the Asian American community of the conviction of New York officer Peter Liang in the death of Akai Gurley highlighted what they see as anti-blackness and a warped perception of justice during a Google Hangout Friday.

Constantly exploiting Liang case to show how Asians are anti-black.

“there is a misplaced anger … guided by anti-Black racism among the community,”
Dr. OiYan Poon, Assistant Professor of Higher Education at Loyola University in Chicago

If you want to see a tour de force of why being a brainwashed Asian liberal means you are programmed to turn against your own, even when your own are wronged, in service of a coalition of non-Asians and in service towards high-minded concepts like “economic justice” and “worker rights”, “educational justice”, etc. Somehow these high-minded ideals don’t mean Asians stand up for justice for Asians. Beware.

● Claims Asians4BlackLives is incompatible with justice for Asians.

These two have been insistent that anyone who wants commensurate sentencing for Liang is ANTI-BLACK. They are total and complete sell-outs.

Jarred Ha, a student at University of Washington, was attacked by a group of female rugby players. He fought back and blacked one of the assailants in self-defense. A drunk white National Guard reservist, Graham Harper, claims he saw Jarred Ha attacking these women and joins the scene. He smashed Ha’s head against multiple cars. In self-defense, Ha stabbed Harper multiple times until the fight ended.

Although the case resolved in Jarred’s favor, we need to take note of the incredible bias in this case:

● Harper is much bigger than Ha and also a National Guard reservist, who was highly intoxicated.
● Harper is a racist as witnesses recalled him yelling racial slurs while chasing him down.
● The mainstream white media lionized Harper as a hero and Ha as a misogynistic woman beater
● University of Washington suspended Ha and banned him from campus instantly.

● It was only honest eyewitness accounts that saved Ha – and those don’t always happen. Without those, this innocent Asian man could be rotting inside jail after being assaulted by white women and a white man.

Just because Ha is safe now doesn’t mean “everything is ok”. We are Asians and we are all in danger. This white society uses propaganda that is constatly anti-Asian and pro-white. Racial biases develop and they can turn lethal inside a mere courtroom. Compare the search results for their names to see the proof:

Search for Graham Harper shows

Search for Jarred HA shows ( (btw, I did this in March so the original searches would be more incriminating)

The Western media loves to rub salt into our wounds so they chose to show this picture of all things. Don’t ever get fooled by the claim “My girlfriend or wife is Asian so I’m not racist”. Yes, they can and often, they are.

This is how white society wants to treat us and the whites who harm us often with impunity.
